6th Annual LCpl Deyarmin Run

This coming Sunday will be
the Sixth Annual LCPL Daniel “Nate” Deyarmin Memorial Benefit Run
June 13, 2010.
Poker Run Registration begins at 9:00 am
First bike out at 10:30
Last bike out at 1:00 pm
Last bike in at 5:00 pm
Car and Truck Cruise In Registration begins at 1:00 pm
Car and Truck Cruise In starts at 2:00 pm

Come out and help us raise horsepower and money for the Disabled/Disadvantaged American Veterans in honor of LCPL Daniel “Nate” Deyarmin
Lcpl Daniel Deyarmin was a friend to all who knew him. He went out of his way to help anyone who needed it and put a smile on the face of every person who met him. On August 1, 2005, while he was serving as a Marine in Iraq to help make our country safe for all of us, Nate gave the ultimate sacrifice, his life.

8th ANNUAL RALLY FOR TROOPS SUNDAY IN DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND’S PUBLIC SQUARE

The 8th Annual Rally for Troops will take place on Sunday April 25, 2010 in downtown Cleveland’s Public Square. As in past years, more than 3000 motorcyclists from all over Ohio and the general public will meet in front of the Terminal Tower complex to honor Ohio’s Fallen Heroes, their families and all our veterans.

The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM with presentation of the colors by the Wadsworth VFW. Jim Mantel of WGAR will be the Master of Ceremonies and Monica Robins of WKYC will sing the National Anthem, as she has for the past seven years. Organizer, John “KIKS” Kikol indicated that the speakers this year will include Robert Gilbert, proud father of Gy. Sgt. Robert Lee Gilbert II, KIA 3/16/2010 in Afghanistan and Lora Hall, proud sister of Lance Cpl. David R. Hall, KIA 8/31/09 in Afghanistan. The Rally will conclude with the reading of Ohio’s Fallen Heroes, 21 gun salute by the Strongsville VFW, taps and the Cleveland Firefighters Memorial Pipes and Drums playing Amazing Grace.

Free Parking is available in all Tower City and Network Parking lots for the Rally. The public is encouraged to attend and the Rally will take place regardless of the weather. There is no cost to attend and the public is encouraged to arrive around 10:00 AM to witness the procession of arriving motorcycles.

As in past years, there are a limited number of 2010 Rally for Troops pins and patches that available at Harley Davidson Sales Company of Cleveland, who also sponsors a post Rally gathering with complimentary food and entertainment from 12:30 to 3:00 PM. Proceeds and donations from the Rally will be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.

8th Annual Rally for The Troops

The RALLY is open to the PUBLIC. Plan on arriving around 10:00 AM to greet the procession of motorcycles arriving into downtown Public Square. JIM MANTEL of WGAR will MC the ceremony. MONICA ROBINS of WKYC will sing the National Anthem. A tribute to Ohio’s Fallen Hero’s and all veterans is planned. Last year an estimated 3000 motorcyclists attended the Rally. THE RALLY WILL TAKE PLACE REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER. In the event of bad weather please come by car, as it’s important to express our continuing support for the sacrifices of our troops and their families. The Rally is supported by many of the North East Harley Davidson Dealerships, HOG Chapters, Leathernecks, Rolling Thunder Chapters, numerous military organizations and other motorcycle organizations throughout Ohio. The Cleveland Firefighters Memorial Pipes and Drums will conclude the ceremony with “Amazing Grace”.

Post Rally Food and Entertainment at Cleveland Harley Davidson Sales Company from 12:30 to 3PM located at 14550 Lorain Road.

11:00 AM to 12:00 NOON

Free Parking will be provided by Forest City in the Tower City parking lots off Huron Road.

Motorcycle processions will begin to stage at 8:00 A.M. from various Harley Davidson Dealerships in Northeast Ohio. Call you local dealership to confirm their participation. Motorcycles will depart for downtown Cleveland at 9:30 A.M.
